• Work as a team with management, bartenders, and other barbacks• Greet every customer with a friendly and helpful demeanor
• Fill in as a bartender when break relieving or helping to cut down lines
--Check IDs to ensure that all drinking customers are over the age of 21
--Educate customers about our beers before they order
--Serve customers drinks in their proper format and vessel
--Follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication
--Ring up customers using our processing system
• Fulfill the role of delivery driver as needed
--Drive the company car to customers’ homes to deliver their web orders using a mapped route created with the Shift Manager
--Check the customer’s ID to ensure that they are over the age of 21
• Fulfill the role of to-go attendant as needed
• Report any intoxicated customers to the Tasting Room & Events Manager immediately
• Report any ABC violations, unruly customers, or other incidents to the Tasting Room & Events Manager immediately
• Thank customers for visiting, welcome them back, and ensure they leave on a positive note
• Keep the tasting room, beer garden, game room, and mezzanine bar areas clean and sanitized in between customers or at least once hourly
• Keep the tasting room, beer hall, beer garden, loading dock, lounge, game room, and mezzanine seating areas clean and sanitized in between customers or at least once hourly
• Clean and sanitize all door handles and ledges in between customers or at least once hourly
• Clean, sanitize, and restock the bathrooms once an hour
• Monitor and empty all indoor and outdoor trash cans as needed
• Restock cups as needed
• Run the dishwasher and restock glassware as needed
• Change empty kegs and place them behind the hose next to the keg washer on the production side of the facility
• Work with the Shift Managers and bartenders to put away beer orders and restock coolers ● Fulfill all opening and closing duties and cleaning
• Fulfill any tasks delegated by the Tasting Room & Events Manager and Shift Managers
• Assist the bartenders with tasks when they are unable to leave their line
• Clean beer lines once or twice weekly as scheduled
• Perform thorough cleanings of areas once or twice weekly as scheduled
• Have knowledge of our beers, events, music, sales, promotions, and other aspects of the brewery and be able to accurately answer questions or attain the correct answer to questions
• Keep informed on these aspects via the internal Google calendar and communication with the Tasting Room & Events Manager and Shift Managers
• Comply with the company’s SOPs and policies
• Comply with the company’s Personal Protective Equipment and cleaning policies
