OBC Beer School – Ode to Odis

March 12, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Calling all novices, enthusiasts, and everyone in between! GO BACK TO SCHOOL.... O'CONNOR BEER SCHOOL! Join us for the first of a 4-part interactive craft beer education workshop, hosted by your favorite local brewery. We kick things off with our first class... an ODE TO ODIS. Learn about Irish Beer History and the evolution of grain styles. Explore malt varieties and how each contributes to the overall flavor and color of a finished brew. THEN - Experiment with malt varieties as you make a batch of grain tea- an ancient, tasty beverage chock full of health benefits (and it tastes pretty darn good, too). We'll send you off with a pack of your custom tea blend to enjoy at home when you're not drinking the fermented stuff. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased on our website. Only 20 spots available per session so act fast! We'll bring the beer - you bring your thirst for knowledge! See you there!
