An exciting addition to our American Craft Beer Week is the release of this India Pale Lager!
Although this style doesn’t yet have much definition, IPL’s are Lager’s brewed without ‘Cereal Adjuncts.’ Lagers are typically made with rice or corn, but the grain bill for this IPL is a mixture of Pilsner Malt, Vienna Malt, White Wheat and Franco Belge Munich.
Starting with a crisp lager nose, this IPL (India Pale Lager) is intensely aromatic, with hints of pine and tangerine. Initial hop drop was with Saphir, Pacific Jade and Pacific Gem Hops, and then dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin Hops (at 4 lbs per barrel) giving it a bitter back with a long and complex, dry finish.
Draught-only release. Available by the glass and in growler/crowler fills to-go, while supplies last.
